Why do I receive a security alert when accessing Virginia Toy.com?
  Virginia Toy & Novelty uses digital certificates issued by Volusion to ensure that your connection with Virginia Toy.com is protected. In January of 2003, support for digital certificates installed in earlier versions of Internet Explorer® 5.0 (IE 5.00.2614) and below or Netscape Communicator® 4.6 and below was discontinued.

Virginia Toy & Novelty customers using these earlier browsers are affected. One of two things may happen:

1.You may receive the "System encountered an error" page. There will be no further information on the error page that helps you identify the problem, though. You will not be able to continue with your current task. You will have to upgrade your browser by following the steps below.
2.You may encounter a security alert message whenever you attempt to enter a secure session. You will have the option to continue and if you choose to do so, your session will still be encrypted.

To avoid the security alert/error page in the future, we recommend that you either update your browser's root certificate or upgrade your browser to a supported version. Please find instructions below:

Microsoft® browsers
Update your Internet Explorer® root certificate from VeriSign by clicking here. VeriSign Australia has provided instructions to download the compatible 'Generation 2' (G2) root to your current browser.

Netscape® browsers
Update your Netscape® root certificate from VeriSign by clicking here. VeriSign Australia has provided instructions to download the compatible 'Generation 2' (G2) root to your current browser.
